Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job Duration: Temporary to Hire
Pay Rate: $60-$75k/year
Location: West Dundee
- Minimum of 7 years accounting and/or payroll experience is required
- Associates Degree in Accounting, at minimum
- Advanced knowledge of Payroll Tax and Sales Tax preparation
- Ability to read and analyze a Balance Sheet and Income Statement
- High level of professionalism, energy, and positive attitude
- Organized and dependable self-starter that can manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects independently
- Provide tax projections for section of 80-100 small business clients.
- Maintain client relationships and be the adviser as their go-to accountant.
- Oversee bookkeepers as they prepare monthly reconciliations, including payroll processing, and sales tax generation.
- Review of financial statements and general ledger for accuracy, consistency and trending.
- Assist with new-client on-boarding and back work.
- Research and respond to IRS and Dept. of Revenue notices as needed.
- Prepare corporate income tax returns for your section of 80-100 small business clients.
- Prepare personal income tax returns for the owners of your section of clients.
