Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Job Duration: Temporary to Hire, possible Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $50-$60k/year

Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Location: East Dundee, IL

Job Description: 

• Ensure timely processing of all new hires, promotions and terminations
• Manage payroll process that includes processing payroll wages and tips, deductions, reimbursements, bonuses, and commissions
• File and remit taxes on behalf of clients
• Prepare and file quarterly tax returns
• Prepare and file W2s & 1099s
• Perform specific duties related to 401k plans, garnishments, child support orders
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from clients
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Payroll processing experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Data entry skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills
• Task orientated
